Rescue 45 and Air/Light 46 (Minquas Fire Co. No. 2) were dispatched as part of the Working Fire Dispatch to assist Stations 41 and 43 (Coatesville FD) for a house fire in the 600 Block of Coates St. in Coatesville City.

The crew from Rescue 45 (Capt. Moore) was assigned to roof ventilation from Chief 41 (Lentz) with the crew from Ladder 49 (East Brandywine FC).  Shortly, thereafter, Tower 45 was dispatched as the third due truck company with the second alarm assignment.  The Tower 45 (Firefighter Colburn) crew was assigned to the second floor of the original fire building to search for extension and to pull the ceilings.  This crew found that the fire was extending throughout the house.

The crews from Squad (Firefighter Cary) and Brush 45 (Lt. Ashbee) assisted with the fire attack plus salvage and overhaul operations.  The fire eventually went to four alarms due to the extension into a total of all eight homes in the row.
