Tower 45 was dispatched to assist Station 38 (Thorndale Fire Co.) with a chimney fire on Park Drive, Caln Twp. The crew conducted the outside chimney ops, using the chimney chain and assisted with ventilation.
As Tower 45 was returning to the Borough, they responded to an auto accident with Engine 46-2 and 46 EMS (Minquas Fire Co. No. 2) on Quarry Rd. at the Rt. 30 By-Pass on-ramp. The crews used the Hurst Rescue System to extricate one person from the sedan.
Just before midnight, Tower 45 was dispatched to assist Station 39 (West Bradford Fire Co.) with a house fire on Shadow Wood Drive, East Bradford Twp. Assistant 51 (First West Chester Fire Co.) arrived to find a working kitchen fire. Engine 52-2 (Goodwill Fire Co. No. 2) and Tower 45 arrived and went to work with the engine crew deploying a hand-line and the Tower 45 crew placed ground ladders around the house with the tower going to the roof. After the fire was extinguished the crew assisted with ventilation.
