On Christmas Eve, at 10:27 PM, the Downingtown Fire Dept. was dispatched as part of the Second Alarm, to assist the Coatesville Bureau of Fire with a building fire in the 100 block of E. Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville City.
Tower 45 set-up in front of the apartment building next to Ladder 41-1 and assisted with checking for fire extension and ventilation. The crews from Engine and Rescue 45, assisted with Salvage and Overhaul. Air-Light 46 of the Minquas Fire Co. No. 2 operated the SCBA filling station.
