Fire Prevention Open House

October 7 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Annual Downingtown Fire Dept., Fire Prevention Open House will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.  Mark your calendars today and please join us for this family-fun event.

There will only be one location for the Open House this year for you to visit us, at our firehouse, located at the Alert Fire Co. No. 1, 122 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335.

Please plan to visit us and you will have a chance to speak with our volunteers, check out our Fire and Rescue apparatus, receive some Fire Prevention materials, see rescue demonstrations and have some light snacks!

We are Neighbors Helping Neighbors; bring the entire family and your friends, and see what we are all-about and how we can help you.  Plus, you will be able to see how you can get involved in helping your community!
